1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client," "you," or "your") and Sonic Alchemy Studios ("Studio," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Sonic Alchemy Studios website (the "Site") and the recording, mixing, mastering, production, and other related services (the "Services") provided by Sonic Alchemy Studios. By accessing or using the Site or Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you are not authorized to use the Site or Services.
2. Services Offered
Sonic Alchemy Studios provides a range of audio production services, including but not limited to:
- Recording: Capturing audio performances using professional-grade equipment.
- Mixing: Combining and enhancing individual audio tracks to create a cohesive and polished sound.
- Mastering: Optimizing audio tracks for distribution across various platforms.
- Production: Assisting with songwriting, arrangement, and overall sound design.
- Voice-over recording
- Audio editing
3. Intellectual Property
All original audio recordings, mixes, and masters created by Sonic Alchemy Studios remain the intellectual property of the Client upon full payment for services rendered. However, Sonic Alchemy Studios retains the right to use samples of the work for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. All content on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Sonic Alchemy Studios or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright laws.
4. Payment Terms
Payment for services is due as follows:
- A deposit of 50% of the total project cost is required to book studio time.
- The remaining balance is due upon completion of the project.
- We accept payments via cash, check, credit card, and bank transfer.
- Late payments may be subject to a late fee of 5% per month.

5. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled session will result in forfeiture of the deposit. Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund of the deposit. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances.
6. Liability
Sonic Alchemy Studios is not liable for any loss or damage to client property while on studio premises. We are also not responsible for any errors or omissions in the final product unless caused by our direct negligence. Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided.
7. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of these Terms and Conditions will be resolved through mediation in Nashville, Tennessee. If mediation fails, the dispute will be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
8. Confidentiality
Sonic Alchemy Studios agrees to keep all client information and recordings confidential and will not share them with any third parties without the client's express written consent.
9. Client Responsibilities
The Client is responsible for:
- Providing all necessary materials for the Services (e.g., backing tracks, lyrics, instruments).
- Arriving on time for scheduled sessions.
- Complying with all studio rules and regulations.
- Ensuring all content provided does not infringe on any third-party rights.
10. Studio Rules and Regulations
The Client agrees to abide by the following studio rules:
- No smoking inside the studio.
- No illegal substances are allowed on the premises.
- Respect studio equipment and personnel.
- Clean up after yourself.
- Keep noise levels to a minimum outside of recording sessions.
11. Termination
Sonic Alchemy Studios reserves the right to terminate services if the Client violates these Terms and Conditions or engages in behavior that is disruptive or harmful to the studio or its personnel.
12. Amendments
Sonic Alchemy Studios may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time by posting the updated terms on our website. Your continued use of the Site and Services following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

15. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Sonic Alchemy Studios with respect to the Site and Services, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and Sonic Alchemy Studios.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced.
17. Waiver
No waiver of any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall be effective unless in writing and signed by Sonic Alchemy Studios.
18. Force Majeure
Sonic Alchemy Studios shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations hereunder where such failure results from any cause beyond Sonic Alchemy Studios' reasonable control, including, without limitation, mechanical, electronic or communications failure or degradation.
